Format pane

Sova Gantt exposes report-author controls through the Power BI format pane.

Key areas:

  • Typography and font settings
  • Header colors and table styling
  • Column-specific widths
  • Row density and visual padding
  • Progress bar rendering
  • Task, milestone, and critical-path colors
  • Timeline grain and grid-line behavior
  • Power BI theme color integration
  • High contrast support

Column widths​

Use column width settings to keep the task list compact and protect the Gantt area. If total column widths become too large, reduce the table columns instead of shrinking the timeline below usable space.

Timeline controls​

There are no on-canvas buttons for switching timeline grain. The default time view and timeline behavior are set from the format pane, so the report author decides what readers see.
