Common issues

Tasks do not appear

Check that task rows have valid start and end dates and that a row anchor measure is bound.

Hierarchy looks wrong

Confirm that WBS levels and WBS code are consistent. Blank or ragged hierarchy values can change roll-up behavior.

Progress looks unexpected

Verify whether the source column uses decimals (0.49) or percentages (49). Do not mix both formats in the same field.

Timeline is too compressed

Reduce task-list column widths, change the default time view, or increase the visual width in the Power BI report canvas.

Visual is slow

Large project schedules can affect render performance. Start by testing filtered datasets, then increase row count while checking render time in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
